Delete your account

This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

You can delete your AudioKids account (a product of Djinn Foundry) and all associated data at any time, either from the app or by writing to us. You do not need to give us a reason.

From the app

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete my account.
3. Read what will be removed and confirm with Delete permanently.

Deletion is immediate: by the time the app returns you to the sign-in screen, the data is gone.

Without access to the app

Email us at hola@audiokids.org from your account address requesting deletion. We process it within 30 days at most.

What gets deleted

• The parent or guardian account, and its email address.
• Your children's profiles, including all personalization data.
• Generated stories and their audio files.
• Reading progress and answers to comprehension questions.
• Your cloned voice sample and its preview, if you made one. We also order its deletion at the speech synthesis provider.
• Active sessions on all your devices.

What we keep, and for how long

Only the invoices and payment records that Spanish tax law requires us to retain, for the legally applicable period (generally six years from the last entry, under article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code). These contain no children's profile data and no stories.

Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account, and deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or Apple: manage it in that store too so it does not renew.

Deleting only part of your data

Without deleting the whole account, you can remove an individual child's profile from the app (along with their stories and progress), or delete just your cloned voice. You can also email us to request deletion of specific data.
